Hi Ken

Could you please contact me by email? I tired to use your great widgets in IntelliJ IDEA and have some questions. It won't take much time, just to clarify a couple of things.

Thanks!

Hi Greg,

My code is licensed under <a href="http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.html" rel="nofollow">LGPL</a>. LGPL is pretty forgiving, so you don't have to do much. Sending credit my way would certainly be appreciated!

Great material. I've got a question concerning Your's code license. Can I use it in my projects? If yes, what am I obligated to do, e.g. sign you as an author and point to your blog?

Ken - Thank you for your incredible contributions and work. We've put together a thick client at http://www.rockyourphone.com (an Independent iPhone App Store) - using MacWidgets, JavaFX, etc. (Download is free). Take a swing at it :)

Hmmm...I'm not exactly sure what your asking for Lawal. You can find Mac Widgets for Java samples here:

http://code.google.com/p/macwidgets/wiki/Examples

and the Javadoc here:

http://exploding-pixels.com/google_code/javadoc_0.9.4/index.html

Let me know if that helps.

I'm a great of the Mac look and feel. I'm currently using Quaqua Look And Feel. But I have an issue with the Accelerator Keys, they are replaced with their Mac equivalent and are not responding a Windows OSs.
Ken, I'll like to use this but I dont know how to do this, or Where can I get the documentation or samples in pdf format or zipped

Hi Peter,

I'd enjoy seeing your UI - you can send me screen shots at kenneth.orr@gmail.com . Are you using Java 1.5.0_16 on the Mac (commonly referred to as "Update 2")? If so, that may be the reason for the erroneous space, something I still need to address (you can submit a issue <a href="http://code.google.com/p/macwidgets/issues/list" rel="nofollow">here</a>).

Hi Ken!

Gratulation to your great work. I am part of a student team from the technical university of Vienna, are using your components for a new sharing app based on XMPP.

I'd love to show you the ui that would not be possible without your great stuff!

And while surfing, i stumbled on http://blog.elevenworks.com/?p=17 - this guy tried to immitate itunes. it's from 2006 but he wrote quite much code, maybe you could use some of it.

I have another small issue. With icons, it seems that the unified toolbar is simply too large on mac. I compared it with cocoa-native apps. Is there a way to reduce the space around the buttons to make it look even more native?

best,
Peter
